What is the Underworld?
The underworld contains all of the topics that have been locked.

The reason they were locked is usually given as the last post in the topic, however just because a topic was locked it doesn't necessarily mean that the topic is useless... it may have been locked because it got spammed or led astray from its origins and was locked before it got out of control.

This means that some content in the underworld may still be of use or interest but it is up to you if you wish to scour through and see what you can find - however do take it as a warning that you may not always like what you find in the underworld... although every attempt is made to fully remove content that is deemed illegal or against the ToS / Rules, some content may exist which you might find offensive.


What if my topic is sent to the Underworld?
Usually all topics that end up in the underworld are sent here for a reason, the reason will be given at the end of the topic before it was locked if the reason isn't entirely clear. If you think your topic was wrongfully locked you can appeal to staff members by PM'ing them with the name of the topic, the address(url) to it and the reason you think it shouldn't have been locked.

If then the staff member decides to unlock it and return it back to its original location - they will inform you. They may take the liberty of 'cleaning' a topic up to a point where it is deemed fit to be amongst the rest of the forum or they may warn you that if the topic does go astray again it will be locked.
